Why Cape Town short-term rentals — right now.

Post-COVID tourism recovery combined with a structurally weak ZAR is driving sustained foreign-guest demand into Cape Town. Nightly rates in hard currency are still a bargain; ZAR-denominated payouts are compounding.

Cape Town is consistently ranked a top-3 global destination. Somerset West, Strand, and the Whale Coast (Agulhas) are the under-supplied adjacent markets where we operate — lower acquisition cost than the V&A Waterfront or Camps Bay, with comparable STR yields on the right assets.

STR gross yields are outperforming long-let by 2–3× on well-positioned properties. Our top-4 average ran 80.7% occupancy in summer 2025/26 at $61 average nightly rate — those are the target unit economics.
